Terraria is a good example as console is still lacking features that PC has, they even have completely different endgame bosses last time I checked. They got ports sure, but it was still YEARS for some of them to receive the large updates other versions had. Yes but they still only focused on one at a time. (see: Terraria, Minecraft, Risk of Rain, any other indie title) They're still having a tough time ironing out the bugs of this dlc even on pc (every update has been breaking the game in some way or another for alot of people) so I imagine once they're done patching the pc release in 3 to 5 months then they will finally get started on porting it to console which could take anywhere from 5 months to a year: Implying Akapurna doesn't cut the support halfway through porting.īoth Minecraft and Terraria are supported on both PC and Console, the former having crossplay between all console versions and the latter having version parity with PC and mobile. Now it looks like Consoles are getting abandoned for a minute. (see: Terraria, Minecraft, Risk of Rain, any other indie title):slugcatdead:įor 1.5, pc was abandoned and we never got features console did, like ending cutscenes and bugfixes until downpour released. I noticed every major update, Indie devs always abandon support for either pc or console. Originally posted by Honkiewithaboomstick:Realistically? summer 2024 at the absolute earliest probably.
